• ACCIONA begins work on its third thermosolar plant in Spain. The facility will require an investment of €237 million.

• The Mitsubishi Corporation becomes an ACCIONA partner by acquiring a 34% stake in the largest photovoltaic plant in the world.

• ACCIONA starts-up the Port of Bilbao biodiesel plant. This plant has a 200,000 metric ton capacity and required an investment of €25 million.

• ACCIONA is awarded contracts in Sardinia (Italy) for operating 16 drinking water treatment plants, 30 purifier facilities and 58 pumping stations. The Company has also taken over operation of the water system and maintenance of the new reservoir in Cagliari, the island's capital.
